President's Message For January 2012

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

A big welcome to all you long term members and glad to have all the new comers aboard this year for what we hope is a great and fun year for everyone.

First thing first is to get our website back on track as things got a little lax the past year. We need to have all the clubs information on the site so you can all know what is coming up and the results of past events. We will get with Ross Ricks, our website master, and see what we need to do to make it easier on him.

January brings two things; the start of Team Play and the Tournament of Champions to be held on January 15th. If you qualify then sign up with Scott Durand or his committee and enjoy a great day.

By the time you read this we should be under a new managing company. Eagle Golf was very good to the men’s club and we will miss them but we hope to have a good relationship with the new company and we do have one thing in our favor in that the new General Manager will be Robert Corrigan. While I am on the subject, after the new company comes in and we know what they expect, we will have to clean up our Saturday tee time so we do not have tee times short of players. If your name is on any of the Saturday play lists then you will be held responsible. I will be working with Robert and get back to you on what we decide.

Hopefully I will see you on the golf course or at our next general membership meeting.
